Ceramic and stone tiles are elegant, durable, and easy to maintain, making them the ideal choice for floors. In order to ensure the lasting beauty of your floor, it's essential to protect the tile assembly from multiple angles: from underneath, at transitions, and within large expansions.

This template features the SCHIENE L-angle profile for use at transitions to adjacent coverings of the same height to finish exposed tile edges, and prevent them from chipping. Below the tile, the DITRA uncoupling and waterproofing membrane neutralizes movement stresses from the substrate below to prevent cracked tiles and grout.

For large surface areas, movement joints should also be incorporated. The DILEX-BWS movement joint profile features a 3/16" (5 mm) -wide soft movement zone that absorbs movement, while providing a discreet visible surface that blends in to the grout pattern.
