The LED can be removed from the mounting profile, and you can test its operation without fully installing directly into place. Removal of the LED can be challenging and could cause damage if not done carefully. For the best results, slowly, delicately, and repeatedly pry the edge of the LED out with a thin 1.5” putty knife until you can pull it down with your finger. Take care to not turn your putty knife at a 45-degree angle as the sharp edge may damage the LED. See niche instructions or installation video for further details.
