New Schluter Website Built on Theme of Inspire, Learn, Choose
Schluter®-Systems has launched a completely new website that simplifies navigation and provides several interactive tools that make it much easier to design and specify tile projects. The site is built with features that will satisfy anyone planning to work on a project with tile - dealers, installers, architects, and homeowners.
The www.schluter.ca website provides complete access to all Schluter online resources. The content of previous microsites, including the Authorized Schluter Dealer (ASD) website, has all been incorporated under this single banner. The use of a single URL for everything makes it much easier for site visitors to move between Schluter-related topics and ideas. The new site is available on a platform that is desktop, tablet, and mobile friendly.

Products
Eight different product categories make it easy to pick the area of best fit and quickly get to the product that is of most interest. All of the information for each product is in one place, all on the same page, including detailed images, videos, warranty, FAQs, CAD drawings, accessories, data sheets, brochures, and more. Users are able to “configure” a product very precisely, down to the type, size, finish/colour, and height right on the product page. Based on that configuration, the relevant product image and list price of the product is shown, along with accessories that complement the product.
Project Planning
The Project Planning section works much like a wish list, where site visitors can create a Project List and then navigate throughout the website adding products that they like or are considering for their project. Project Lists can be created from scratch, or visitors can get inspiration from more than a dozen Project Templates that allow them to choose an “area of use” such as a shower. The site prompts them to pick the style of shower that is of interest, and provides an itemized list of products recommended for that specific area. After a Project List is created it can be shared for collaboration with another person: their contractor, their significant other, their tile dealer—whoever.
Areas of Use
Construction professionals and homeowners often start their planning by thinking of the “area of use” – countertop, floor, stairs, shower, etc. This section of the website provides visitors with essential considerations to ensure a successful tile installation in each of these areas. The section identifies key products, suggests solutions to common obstacles, offers educational videos and provides direct access to a number of resources to help with decision making.
Education
This section includes a full array of educational materials from homeowner-friendly videos, to sign-up information for installer workshops, and CE approved e-learning for architects. And, for those who aren’t yet sure what they want, there is also an Inspiration Gallery section with large, beautiful images to help visitors clarify that big idea they’ve been searching for. Visitors can get inspired by tile choices, layouts and designs, colours, and finishes. There is also an option to search by a specific Schluter product to see how and where it can be used.
